So long story short, I have had dd-wrt for a long time. My last router bit the dust Sad it was a WRT350N V1. We had a power surge last night and it fired the wifi and Broadcom Chip, upon a 30/30/30 it won't post. So it's now a coffee coaster. So I bought a E4200 v1 as a replacment. I understand it's a WIP so I expected bugs but upon flashing, but I cannot get the PPPoE to connect. My provider is TekSavvy, I have tried the following builds flashed via the web gui "dd-wrt.v24-16785_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-e4200" & "dd-wrt.v24-17689_NEWD-2_K2.6_big". I get the same problem with both. I searched on the internet and discovered that filling in the Service Name field sometimes creates problems. So I have tried leaving it blank. I don't have Multilink pppoe so that is unchecked. Any input would be greatful, the stock firmware is great but I'm missing dd-wrt already...

So I'm back at it, I have done a 30/30/30 before and after flashing the current firmware according do the database. I currently have my unlocked speedstream 4200 connected, I have also tried my speedtouch 516 V6 with the same results. No go on the PPPoE, I forgot to mention yesterday that I setup the modem as a router to connect by itself. I then tryed DHCP and a static address and I was still unable to connect with DD-WRT flashed. The problem seems tied to the WAN port in general not just the PPPoE. Hope that helps?

I'm experiencing the same thing with my E4200, currently on DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/20/11) mega - build 18024 after switching from cable to VDSL.

My Fritz VDSL box when set to be a modem-only mode seems happy enough, but my E4200 either refuses to connect or reboots Sad

Wondering if maybe I should 30/30/30 it to see if that helps, but I did that before applying the current firmware.
