Hi guys

i wanted to try out dd-wrt and tried to flash it onto my dir-300

i followed the instructions and misunderstood the ending - what to do now ?

i managed to install redboot...

i also did this:

fis init
ip_address -h 192.168.1.2
load -r -b 0x80041000 linux.bin
fis create linux
fconfig boot_script true
fconfig boot_script_timeout 4


but then i had to fconfig and set the bootloader to

fis load -l linux
exec


i misunderstood this and directly typed these commands into the console.

i did a reset and now my router is lost in nirvana.
I cannot connect to 192.168.1.1
also i fail to get into the router over the wan port port

is there anything i can do ??

I thought I'd bricked mine first time around but hadn't as I could get on by using the original factory defaults.

Try the original address of your router which I believe is 192.168.0.2

You'll need to reconfigure your PC's network card to get on with something like 192.168.0.9 255.255.255.0

Then follow the instructions here to set it up:

Hi

i tried 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2 there is no response Sad

Also i read the wiki before posting!

Any ideas?
