@Eko will it be a micro+ssh version for newd2 or it doesn't fit? I flashed my v5 with newd2 micro+ and everything was ok but i really need SSH so i went back to newd.

You have made a mistake. In IP address box you need to specify internal IP( not your WAN address) where you want to forward that port.

Forward port just once : in port forwarding or in port range forwarding not both like you did for 2211.

Try to use it on first channel. Curious but it solved my problem ( same disconnects on i2200BG).

Look for port 8080 in forward/trigger list and see not to be forwarded/triggered somehow . Happened to me Smile
Also disable UPnP maybe any of your software take over 8080.

You don't need to use vxworks killer on wrt54g ver2.2 because it doesn't have vxworks. Just tftp DD-WRT firmware. Don't forget to do 30/30/30 reset before and after putting new firmware.

PPPoE connection is always on no need to set anything Smile And it is dialed at router start-up you don't have a connect on demand option but from STATUS --> WAN page you can connect/disconnect manual ...

Then how it works on laptop? u dial the connection when u want to navigate internet and disconnect when u want to use that ftp? Because on laptop same thing happens with IP address when u dial.

Cable resistance wouldn't be a problem because of very low current but noise might be ( you might encounter random resets). If you'll use FTP instead of UTP i almost can guarantee that will work witho ...
